Our club membership costs as little as $15.00 for a student to $90.00 for a family membership. Currently our members are asked to take turns mowing and volunteer for assignments at club functions such as our Annual Fun Fly. We have our own website and members may ask to have items posted for sale to other members or people that visit our website. Each member has access to the field at anytime, the club also owns a gas grill for use at our events and for the members to use during a day at the field. We meet the first Wednesday of each month usually at the field except for the winter months, then we meet in the Gainey Room of the Owatonna Public Library. The meetings start at 6:30 PM and usually last until 8:00 PM.
We pride ourselves in the fact that each and every club member has a voice in the running of the club. We are a friendly group that likes to get together and enjoy a hobby that promotes fellowship, fun and learning. If you are interested in joining, please feel free to print an application and fill it out. Mail it back to the club secretary with the appropriate dues and you will receive your membership card and gate combination to the field.
The club also has a number of members that are flight trainers. If interested in learning to fly please contact one of our trainers to schedule a time to give R/C flying a try.
